I created a very large composite image for the private dining area of a new Departure restaurant in Denver.
Since the restaurant was flight themed the design team wanted to play with the idea of how TSA could look at your things and potentially draw conclusions about who you are as a person. I built suitcases based on several characters they created. Hoping that patrons would make up their own stories about the people who belong to these suitcases.
I shot over 600 individual objects to populate the suitcases. Often deconstructing them to create the xray effect photoshop.
The last few photos are of the other pieces we created for the restaurant that I took during our walk through before shipping them out to be installed
Luckily I interviewed and tested with the TSA at one point. So I know how they…oh wait…I’m not supposed to tell people that.

Karlie works with Adidas in several different areas (Athletics, Stella McCartney and Training). The creative team shot imagery to tie them all together and I had the pleasure of retouching the photos.
In addition to retouching this campaign, we were asked to reshoot all new shoes and composite in new leggings. I shot all of the assets in the studio to match the original footwear.

Had a blast shooting new footwear assets in the studio for Adidas 2019 Festival pack. Since they only had the left shoe for both pairs on set, I needed to flip the images and match the angle, lighting and position for all of the right shoes back in the studio. Then reverse lighting and position for each one so I could grab the logos in the correct light and orientation since the left shoe will be flipped to look like the right shoe. Does that even make sense? Don’t think about it too hard, It worked.

The Road to Coachella lookbook was a project I worked on for Adidas. The images were used leading up to and at Coachella.
I was tasked with taking last years selects and matching them to the new CAD. At the time, we had not been able to shoot any of the new elements so everything had to be created in photoshop. Brushing up on my painting and utilizing displacement maps, I was able to remove the old graphic and apply the new one.

I led the team of retouchers on several seasons of Adidas adicolor. With the images often ending up on the Adidas website or even times square.

The majority of the work I do ends up on the interwebs. However, every so often I get to see work we have done out in the physical world. Now if only I could track down that sports illustrated I did.
